Clarity and visual consistency
Virgin PET is commonly associated with high clarity. rPET appearance can vary with recycled feedstock, processing and content level, so an approved sample is the right reference for color and visual consistency.
Recycled content is a specification
Ask the supplier to confirm what rPET means for the quoted project, including the recycled-content direction and the documentation that can be provided. Avoid assuming all rPET sheet has the same composition.
Forming performance matters
The package must still form clean corners, ribs, closures and stacking features. Sheet gauge, cavity depth and tooling influence the result together with material choice.
What to send for review
Provide the intended food or product, target dimensions, pack weight, clarity expectation, destination market, annual demand and any written recycled-content requirement.
